I can across this at a doctors office on one of the medical assistants desk.  I asked her what it was and what it meant to her.  I have some sort of an idea of the catholic religion, but she explained it to me.  She received that years ago when she had her first communion, and how it’s the first sacrament. She explained to me that a few years after you have your first communion, you have a confirmation.  I think of it as kind of a baptism for older kids.  The kids dress in all white and of course white represents purity.  Catholic churches eat the bread and drink the wine or juice, every mass. I thought that it was nice that she had this remembrance of an important part in her life in her work place.  That was obviously a very special moment for her.
