The Megan Project

This cross was given to me by my Wita (when I was little I couldn’t pronounce abuelita, so I called my grandmother  Wita) on my first birthday and I have had it ever since. Although, this necklace has extreme personal value to myself, I sometime forget the bold and beautiful symbol/meaning that the necklace actually portrays. Every time I am wearing this necklace, I am wearing a cross that represents the cross that Jesus Christ was crucified on. To me, it is almost mind blowing how such a small symbol can carry so much meaning and integrity.

  1. I completely agree with you. That is one of the many reasons we need symbols, and also to help us bring with us all that which is sacred.
