For the Megan Project I decided to take a picture of the cross that my parents have in their bedroom. I found it kind of ironic because my parents have never pushed or expressed any ties to Catholicism or Christianity, or any religion at all for that matter; but yet, they still have this in their bedroom. In Catholicism, the cross is a recurring symbol that provides people with comfort. It also provides a sense of protection almost like being looked after. It just goes to show that even the most non-religious people can find comfort in common religious symbols.
