Black Robe Review: by Bernye Estevez

Black Robe Review: by Bernye Estevez

The movie Black Robe was far more different than what I expected. I honestly thought it was going be a very boring film but it was all but that. The film contained a lot of excitement, surprising elements, and a lot of human elements that made it easier for me to connect on an emotional level. I really like that the film has a historic background, and that throughout the movie you encounter many aspects of real life such as love, sadness, betrayal, and reconciliation. This film made me realize how two completely different religions can clash and harm one another because of their beliefs in what they believe to be sacred or holy.
