While this screenshot of a post may seem like for laughs and giggles it really touches a more pressing topic. While the political debates go on and candidates start to refer to how they will make things right by abiding to the will of God and appeasing him to be in his good favor again for the sake of the nation, however who is to say that it is their God in specific they need to make amends with? In a critical view it is egocentric to assume that only their own God would punish them and that no other deity would be upset with them. The film Bury my Heart at Wounded Knee opened my eyes to consider such a possibility because if such deities do exist surely they would be furious.
